Butler/Driver – Primrose Hill (Live-in/Live-out)

This is a role for a candidate with a diverse skill-set and proactive approach. The Principals have two young children of pre-school and reception age, therefore school runs are required at either end of the day.

Some general housekeeping and tidying are required to keep the residence in good order.

The family are relocating from North London to a residence in Primrose Hill in the autumn. Should the ideal candidate require accommodation, they will be offered accommodation at the North London property and a staff car will be provided. The new residence is approximately a 20-25 minute drive from the main residence.

Salary available is £45,000.00 – negotiable to £50,000.00 for the perfect applicant.

Responsibilities

• Client concierge (errand running, reservations and bookings, personal shopping, troubleshooting, event planning etc)
• Driving of the family and any guests – including school runs, airport pick-ups etc
• Welcoming any guests to the residence
• Service
• Manage the day to day running of the residence
• See to light maintenance (lightbulbs, sweeping leaves, keeping a tidy entrance to the property, collecting post etc)
• Keep a running list of any necessary repairs
• Book and oversee any external contractors

Key requirements

• Previous Butler experience
• A clean driving licence
• Enhanced DBS check (please contact the agency for assistance)
• Confident family cooking skills a bonus (not essential)
• A child-friendly manner
• A flexible and proactive approach
