Live-in/Live-out Housekeeper – Sussex
We are recruiting a Housekeeper to join an extensive team of household staff at a large estate in Sussex. You are required to work weekends when the family are in residence. The Principals travel frequently, therefore packing and unpacking of suitcases is required on a regular basis. This role requires pure housekeeping. Hours are typically 9-5. Accommodation will either be provided on-site or will be sourced for you locally.
Staff include housekeeping, a chef, estate management and grounds staff. The salary available is fully negotiable and will be confirmed once the ideal candidate has been found. The client is looking for a team player who can offer the family longevity.
In addition to general housekeeping and laundry, you will also be asked to help lay and clear the table and assist with service as required.
The Principals are less formal and looking for a candidate who can find the right balance of an informal yet professional approach.
Interviews will be taking place with the Principals directly.
Hours: Typically 09.00-17.00 with two days off during the week if the family are in residence
Salary: Fully negotiable
Start date: ASAP
Accommodation: A self-contained cottage will be provided either on-site or accommodation will be leased for you in town (within 5 minutes of the estate).

- A non-disclosure agreement must be signed due to a high-profile client
- Due to the rural location, applicants would benefit from having a driving licence (not essential)
- All applicants must be fully vaccinated
