To assist you with obtaining or refreshing an existing DBS certificate, we have partnered with an established DBS provider, Checks Direct who process the right level of criminal record check depending on the profession of each applicant.
Candidates applying for positions within a childcare setting are strictly required to apply for an Enhanced DBS certificate. Candidates wishing to apply for all other positions should apply for a Basic DBS certificate.
When you are ready to begin your application, please contact the agency and we will provide you with the details you will require to process your certificate, including; a link to get started, our organisation pin code and a unique password.

Those applying for an Enhanced DBS certificate must provide the agency with three forms of ID documents, as we are legally required to verify them before your DBS certificate can be issued. Please email three of the below documents to office@thestaffdirectory when you begin your application.

Once you have been issued a DBS certificate, it is valid for 3 years, although many clients will ask that you refresh your DBS every 12 months.
