Housekeeper – Kensington
Housekeeper required for family in Kensington for a four-bedroom, four-bathroom, three-storey property. Expected working hours are 9-4/5pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility required.
Duties include daily cleaning, laundry and ironing as well as upkeep of household items such as crystal and silverware. Grocery shopping as required and oversight and management of handymen and external contractors etc who may come to the house.
When the household entertains, they like help with setting up for the evening. Occasionally they may ask for help with a particular event.
Some PA duties, but this isn’t essential.
The Principal is ideally looking for someone with experience in hospitality who is innovative, proactive and self-sufficient in their approach to the role.

Responsibilities
- Housekeeping
- Laundry & care of delicate fabrics
- Organising dry cleaning
- Tidying, dusting and wardrobe organising
- PA duties (simple household admin and errand running)
- Serving at parties
- Care of silverware, glassware and antiques
Key requirements
- Previous private household experience
- Supporting references
- Sharp eye for detail
- DBS background check
- Warm and professional approach
- Self-starter, motivated and proactive
- Knowledge of simple table settings and service
