Private Chef – Tashkent, Uzbekistan

This is a highly sustainable role for a Private Chef who is looking for a role requiring knowledge of international dishes from Japanese to Middle Eastern and Mediterranean.

The family consist of two Principals and two young children aged 10 and 1.5 years. You are required to prepare lunch for the children only, and dinner for the family (4). The Principal’s like to entertain guests on occasion, therefore some weekends will be required.

You will have access to the best ingredients available and a fully-equipped kitchen.

The current chef has been with the family for the past 4-years and is leaving to open a restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Creating a variety of global cuisine for a family of four in Uzbekistan
• Catering for dinner parties and formal occasions (tailoring dishes for guests with dietary requirements or intolerances)
• Working closely with a large team of private household staff including housekeeping, childcare, butlers and valets, personal assistants, security and drivers.
• Shopping and stock control
• Working with specialist suppliers
• Accounts and expenses
• Travel is not expected but not impossible
• 5-day week (Mon-Fri) unless the family are entertaining at weekends

• Previous private chef experience within a private household is essential
