Rotational Butler – Kensington

The client is offering a full-time salary as you are required to rest and recuperate when off rotation. The contract requires the selected butler to work exclusively for the household with a salary of £40-£45k available for the 6-months you are on rotation per year.

You will be joining a larger team of household staff including a travelling Head Butler/Estate Manager, housekeeping, drivers and security.

Those with exceptional service skills and UHNW private household or Royal Household experience would be ideal for this role. Those with Yacht Butler or Chief Steward experience would also be of interest to the client. Applicants with extensive top London hotel butler experience may also apply.

Self-contained accommodation is provided on-site for the duration of your rotation (the role is live-out when off rotation).

Responsibilities

• Butler service
• Preparation and service of drinks
• Wine and cocktail service
• Packing and unpacking of suitcases (the family travel frequently to additional global residences)
• Greeting guests
• Liaising with contractors
• Working closely with household staff to ensure a smooth household itinerary
• Table service
• Table settings and seating plans
• Polishing of silver
• Care of antiques
• Handing over with the second butler after rotation

Key requirements

• Butler experience in private or royal household (also ideal for yacht butler or top London hotel butlers)
