Housekeeper – Kensington
An experienced housekeeper is required for a household in central London. Those with private household or top London hotel experience are preferred. 5-days per week with 2 days off.
The housekeeper will be joining a larger team of private staff and will report directly to the Head Butler.
Housekeeping, laundry, ironing and arranging delicate garments for dry cleaning is required.
The selected housekeeper will be working in rotation with an existing housekeeper who has been working for the family for several years. You will also assist several butlers and a private chef with the daily running of the household.
Ideal applicants will have private household or 5* London hotel experience.
Responsibilities
- Housekeeping and general tidying
- Laundry and ironing
- Errand running
- Keeping a well-stocked cleaning cupboard
- Using specialist chemicals and cleaning materials on stone, marble floors/surfaces and precious metal furnishings
- Organising delicate and vintage garments for dry cleaning
- Assisting additional staff where required
- Working a flexible rotation with a second housekeeper
