We are recruiting a highly skilled and experienced Butler with a modern approach for an UHNW client based in London. The position requires an element of global travel, therefore candidates must be flexible to accompany the Principal when required.
The role is based in Central London, however the client has multiple global properties and also travels frequently for business. We are looking for an exceptional candidate to fill this role who will be required to bring an eye for detail, good knowledge of tech and a fully flexible approach. You will primarily be supporting the Principal, offering support to his wife as required.
The selected applicant will work within a polished team of global staff, all outstanding in their specialist fields, therefore the bar for the role is set particularly high. The position will see you working alongside established personal and office staff, from a team of global assistants to private chefs, drivers, property management and housekeeping.
A considerable element of your role will require careful and well-planned packing for trips, extensive wardrobe management including seasonal rotation and appropriate storing of garments. You will also see to all personal shopping for the Principal and his wife where needed, and keep close contacts with favoured stores and ateliers. A knowledge of cigars and cigar preparation is essential, and a knowledge of wine will of course be required.
You will lead service in all locations, whether supporting the Principal at home, at the office or whilst travelling. During periods of travel, you will set up the Principal’s suite allowing for all personal preferences, in addition to setting up all tech that would be required for the trip.
This role requires an individual who thrives within top-level environments where the highest quality is expected. The Butler will plan ahead and always anticipate the client’s next move. This prestigious role will be filled by an individual who can surpass expectations and bring a skilled and highly organised approach.
The start date for this position is flexible until September should the ideal individual have a notice period to honour. The salary may be negotiated for a more than exceptional applicant, depending on experience.
