Senior Housekeeper/House Manager – Ascot

£55,000.00-£65,000.00|Ascot, Berkshire|Permanent

Our client in Ascot is looking for an outstanding senior housekeeper/house manager to run their home. The role offers a highly competitive salary and requires a candidate with top level experience within the world of private household. A car and fuel allowance are provided, along with increasing annual leave after each year of service. Suitable candidates will have experience with wardrobe management, be self-motivated, highly organised and have excellent references. The start date is flexible for the perfect applicant and is open to those looking for live-out or live-in.

The residence is a 7-bedroom property with additional staff, including a private chef and gardener. The home is primarily used for the two principals, with grown-up children and friends visiting on occasion.

The clients are British and looking for the right housekeeper/house manager to take on complete autonomy of the home, running it seamlessly and with practised care. The right candidate will be motivated with a talent for all areas of housekeeping, from laundry and wardrobe management to hands-on housekeeping. They will also liaise with additional staff and external contractors as required to ensure things are running like clockwork.

The position offers an excellent remuneration package, pension, annual bonus, and increasing annual leave with each year of service.

Live-in accommodation is available for those requiring staff quarters, but it is also open to local candidates who prefer to live out.

The client is also very open to the senior housekeeper bringing in additional staff as needed. Therefore, experience in training housekeeping staff is required.

This is not a typical housekeeping role. It is an opportunity to join a delightful household where your skills and experience will be valued. The Principals will encourage you to continue to learn and develop your skills, whether that be in specialist housekeeping, learning more about the care of artwork and antiques, barista training, or perhaps a course to improve your IT skills.
