Travelling Nanny – France

A warm and dynamic family based in France is looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced French-speaking Nanny to provide full-time care for their two children, aged 6 and 2. The family travels frequently, so they require someone who is adaptable, calm, and comfortable on the road, ensuring a smooth experience for the children in different locations.

Responsibilities

1. Childcare & Development
• Provide complete care for the children, including hygiene, nutrition, sleep, and daily routines.
• Organize engaging age-appropriate activities (games, reading, creative play, and early learning).
• Assist with preparation for school and support the children’s learning.
• Take the children on walks and outdoor activities to encourage healthy development.

2. Household & Organization
• Prepare healthy and tasty meals for the children.
• Maintain hygiene and organization of the children’s clothes, toys, and personal items.
• Ensure the children’s environment is clean, safe, and stimulating.

3. Travel & Adaptation
• Accompany the children on private trips, ensuring smooth transitions across different locations (airports, hotels, new homes).
• Help the children adapt to new environments and maintain routines while travelling.
• Keep a calm and reassuring presence to support the family during travel.

4. Family Communication & Support
• Work closely with parents to coordinate schedules and routines.
• Provide regular updates and feedback on the children’s development and needs.
• Be a trustworthy and reliable partner in the children’s upbringing.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Must be based in France.
• At least 3 years of experience as a nanny in a family with two children.
• Strong understanding of child development, routines, and logistics.
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
• Ability to travel frequently and manage the challenges of new environments.
• Flexible, stress-resistant, and adaptable to changing schedules.

Key requirements

The ideal candidate will:
• Be based in France and fluent in both French and English.
• Have at least 3 years of experience as a nanny in a family with two children.
• Be comfortable travelling frequently and experienced in helping children adapt to new environments.
• Be organized, flexible, and able to handle changing routines.
